Its my misuse of the term Vb that is incorrect. What i meant was:

No fill
Physical Volume=163L for Qtc=0.500 and Vb=163L

6lbs of fill
Physical Volume=131L for Qtc=0.500 and Vb=163L

Where 163L = 5.75 cubic feet.

OK, I was wondering if we were saying the same thing. I'd suggest instead of saying Vb, maybe calling it "apparent Vb" or something like that. Otherwise, it may confuse the hell outta everyone!
