Currently in the process of setting up my new home for audio throughout. Home theater will be setup in the 5.1 configuration. In addition, I will have 4 speaker pairs in different rooms. I would like to be able to listen to different sources (i.e. CDs, stereo) in at least 2 zones. I have purchased the Denon 3805 receiver.

Will I need a separate amp to accomplish this? If yes, will something like the Audiosurce AMP-1 suffice?

Thanks

The 3805 has enough amps to get one additional zone. I'm pretty sure of this, it can be switched all over the place. I think only analog sources can be run on zone 2 as far as different content than what is running on zone 1 is concerned. Reason for this, the DSP ect..ect.. is busy with zone 1.
