Work in progress transforming our loft library to a dedicated home theater. I still have to get the rear bed layer speakers online and I am working with a local HT professional on figuring out the best way to hide all the wires

Your buddy is cute!
The sofa looks comfortable, but the TV is blocking the window, like you have to move the TV when you open the window.
It is recommended that you install an electric screen over the window, which can be closed up when you are not watching the movie.
The TV was replaced by a projector hanging from the ceiling.
This saves a lot of space.

Thanks! Eventually I might go with a projector and pull down screen in there. I’ve got access to a window just down the hall if needed, so not as big of an issue needing to access it. I’ve made a few upgrades to the theater itself, so it’ll be a good bit before I get the ok to upgrade to a projector.

Made a few updates. Surrounds are now in wall, and all the wires now run through the wall. Worked with a local A/V professional who did a great job. Really happy with the upgrade.
