Been resisting Star Trek. I crumbled.
I successfully resisted once again. It was $130 recently and I did the same. I'm thinking we'll see $80 or less on that set maybe within a year...? sub $100 I'll most likely grab it. meanwhile, the DVDs really don't look so bad. Just watched Journey to Babel and was very happy with the DVD quality. Upconversion doing it's job I guess... :)

Kinda bummed that Peter Pan is the 2 disc version and not the 3 disc. Looks like the pre-order for $27.99 minus the $8 Amazon coupon is the best deal that's going to happen. It's going to be cheaper than the B/M prices next week, at any rate.

Oooooh. I had no idea THIS was coming. One of the best sounding DVDs ever.
I guess the HD-DVD version didn't include a lossless 5.1 mix. I wonder if that will be different for the Blu?

I'm sure tempted to order this, but I'd like to know more about it first.

I've checked a ton of listings for this disc across the web...but I can't find anything more than a tracklist. No specs anywhere.

Amazon had Red Dwarf back to Earth blu recently for $16. And RD X recently for $28. They are both back up. Just exactly what I need to pick up and I missed it. Not blaming the thread for that. No. Not doing that. no. lol . Seriously, only mentioning it in hopes that if someone sees those on sale they will give a heads up here. Red Dwarf Back to Earth Red Dwarf X

James: When I'm in that position I just put 'em in my Amazon cart and just try to check my cart whenever possible to see which items in the cart have gone up or down. It is certainly not a fail-proof system as sometimes items are marked down for just hours at a clip...but it's better than hoping that others will clue you in within the necessary window (you're just adding a middle-man!). More direct the other way. Good luck!

Excellent tip. In fact, that's where I learn I had missed it. It told me those went back up. I know you get a loooong list where things will go up and down all the time. I'm glad they have that. But I hate I missed these. I'm finishing up XIII with commentary now. I can't wait to watch every single thing on those 2 sets. I'll check every darn day. Thanks.
