I thought I would pose this question to the knowledgable group here. Was a DVD version with content equivalent to the deluxe widescreen 4 laserdisc version ever issued? As I recall, this LD version had 40 or so minutes of additional footage added in and subsequent R1 versions have not had all of this footage included. Has this extended version been issued in other regions (or in R1 when I wasn't looking)?

The current DVD, though OOP is the extended cut. The new DVD will feature both extended and theatrical cuts
