Well, I guess I couldn't wait until tomorrow :). I picked up Someday's Dreamers vols. 2-3 while trying to get Unreal Tournament 2004 (it's not out until tomorrow :frowning:). These two disks put me at 13 series completed this year, the same as in all of 2002 :).

John got me thinking of how many series I have completed. Fortunately, the numbers are still small enough that I can figure this out.

2003
X
RahXephon
Boogiepop Phantom
(not sure when it actually finished, but I got the complete set last year)

2004
Chobits
Someday's Dreamers
Berserk
(I guess it finished last year but I just completed it this year, and I still haven't watched past disc one)
Now and Then, Here and There (see Berserk)

Ongoing
Ninja Scroll (should finish this year since I think there is only one more disc (2?), but who knows how long it will take to release them)
s-CRY-ed (ending this year)
Twelve Kingdoms (no clue on this one)
Last Exile (this year, barring any schedule problems)
Yukikaze (does this count as a series? I assume so)

There still a few series I would like to get that are already complete (Evangelion, Escaflowne, Lain, Hellsing to name a few). Fruits Basket is maybe the only other ongoing one right now that I might consider getting, though Wolf's Rain is a likely one later this year.

James:

I had a bunch of problems last year when I decided to go back and organize my lists to keep track of when I finish series and other stuff. Some stuff was easy and/or obvious, but the series from 2001 and 2002 were the hardest to track down. Now I've got it in a nice Excel spreadsheet, with lots of pretty graphs :D.

Think: Kiki's Delivery Service. Girl is learning magic and has to go off to the city to train.

It was, eh, but I don't think I want to own it. Maybe if I see it on sale at TRSI or something I'll pick it up ;)

I'll post my series later. I started watchign anime back in...1989ish?

Man, my novel would make a better movie or anime serial than a novel. :)

I like Someday's Dreamers...have all 3 volumes. I'm somewhere in Vol 2 right now. I find that I have to be in the "mood" to watch it though because it's gotten backshelved to Ai Yori and Mahoromatic.
But, other times I don't want to watch anything but Somedays' Dreamers so...it is good, in it's own right. :)

Yes, I am still alive. Been very busy lately with vacation (Hawaii :D) and starting my new job. I did pick up the GTO Box over the weekend, can't wait to dig into that. Hopefully Sailor Moon Season 1 and 2 will still be cheap at the end of the month so I can pick them up.

I got some anime watching in last night between moving and packing. I rewatched Martian Successor Nadesico vol. 3, and Someday's Dreamers vol. 2. I have to say I'm still really impressed by Someday's Dreamers. There have been no bad episodes; in fact, all of them have been great.

Jason: The OAVs - Battle Athletes - is a Hoot!!!

And Akari is a LOT less... whiny. ;) No Akari House here... :D It's all good and worth it. You'll see what I mean when you see it. Cute fun series. My main problem is that Pioneer didn't separate out hte episodes, removed the OP and the ED and eye catches, and perhaps the title cards but a fun show nonetheless. And Tanya is still... Tanya.

Thought I might post a pic of the Galaxy Angel figures that came in the box (I found them to be very impressive)...

That's the box in the background too for scale purposes. :D
