A question about hooking up a P/E Amp to an SVS Sub. (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

I just bought the Parts Express 500 watt amp for my SVS 25-31CS+ and am trying to figure out how to connect it. Now I just want to be positive before I do this but I suspect I am supposed to cut the tips off so I can get the bare speaker wire to connect to my sub. Hopefully someone can verify this for me.

If you mean cut the terminals off the ends of the positive and negative output leads then I would say yes. I cut them off all the amps I have used so far since the drivers I used had push button terminals.

Same here.. plus, depending on your design, the amps don't always give you much slack in length.

Just keep your polarities straight and you're fine.
