James Cagney is practically the whole show in Raoul Walsh’s political exposé A Lion Is in the Streets, a tale of corruption that seems a bit undernourished.

I just viewed this disc and the transfer is truly top notch! To see 1953 Technicolor like this is unbelievable! The highest praise!

Unfortunately, they made an error with the trailer. It's not included. Instead we get the first 3 minutes of the movie in washed out SD. I think they made the same mistake on the original archive dvd all those years ago?

Seeing the sorry picture quality of this "trailer" definitely makes one appreciate the miracle of the new HD transfer!

Also bravo on including subtitles! Definitely made the movie more comprehensible!
