Interesting that there is really no comment in the link's introduction on the particulars of the scenes for which they provide some uncut still shots; who made the cuts, when the cuts were made, for whom they were made, Hitchcock's position on the cuts, etc. They only repeat the famous story about the censor claiming to have seen a breast in the shower scene, Hitchcock agreeing to edit that out but getting an "ok" from the censor after re-submitting the movie without editing out anything from the shower scene.
By all accounts I've read and heard (for example, from comments made by his then assistant on certain PSYCHO home video bonus material), Hitchcock was highly resistant to making cuts to this and other films due to pressure from the censors, understandably having much greater regard for his own judgment on the matter from an audience perception/cinematic viewpoint. Hence the amusing story about how he got the better of the censors, essentially making fools of them, by pretending to honor their demands, resubmitting the shower scene uncut and then getting their approval anyway.
