KEF announces LSX speaker accessories range

Following the launch of the compact LSX two-speaker wireless music system last year, KEF has announced the LSX Accessories range, consisting of an S1 Floor Stand ($349.99/pair), B1 Wall Bracket ($229.99/pair) and P1 Desk Pad ($179.99/pair). All the products will be available in August, and pre-orders are being accepted now.

The S1 Floor Stand promises to let the sound of the LSX speakers “fill the room.” The stand includes an aluminum structure with fillable pillar, providing a stable base for the speaker, while integrated cable management provides a clean, “mess-free” aesthetic for the speakers. The stand is available in black or white.

The B1 Wall Bracket is available in black or silver, is “easy to install” and matches the “plug-and-play” nature of the LSX. The units also include a cable management system, an integrated mounting system and an adjustable dias to allow rotation. The P1 Desk Pad is available in black or silver, and is aimed at desktop usage and for low TV cabinets, while providing a 10° upward tilt.

KEF recently announced the introduction of Apple AirPlay 2 for LSX enabling streaming of music, videos and games from iPhones, iPads or Macs directly to the speakers. Updating to AirPlay 2 deploys the new firmware over-the-air, and the platform now works across all existing products purchased by present and future customers.
