COMES TO DIGITAL ON JULY 19​

Burbank, CA, June 27, 2022 – The age of heroes is upon us when the Warner Bros. Pictures and DC full-length HBO Max Original feature film “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” comes to Digital on July 19. The screenplay is by Chris Terrio, story by Chris Terrio & Zack Snyder and Will Beall, based on characters from DC, Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The film’s producers are Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, with executive producers Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas, Wesley Coller, Jim Rowe, Curtis Kanemoto, Chris Terrio and Ben Affleck.



In “Zack Snyder’s Justice League”, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.



On July 19, “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” will be available to own digitally in high definition and standard definition from participating digital retailers where you purchase movies. Additionally, a Trilogy bundle will also be available on Digital on July 19. The three-film collection includes Man of Steel, Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

Agreed but they held it back for HBO Max, since Max threw like $70 million at the project to complete it. I wouldn’t be surprised if this change in making it digitally available now is the result of the new ownership at Warner taking a broader view of the company’s holdings, whereas AT&T was pretty much “all max, all the time”

Price is $14.99 at most retailers, but a head's up to everyone considering purchasing this title:

Both Movies Anywhere and Vudu are not including any of the special features mentioned in the press release at this time, and there is currently a porting issue with Apple TV/iTunes. I have contacted my PR rep at Warner regarding these issues and am holding off on my review until I hear back from him. I will pass on any info I find out.

If you purchased from a Movies Anywhere retailer other than Apple, you will need to have Apple refresh your Movies Anywhere connection on their end. Unlinking and relinking from the Movies Anywhere website will not resolve it, apparently it needs to be done on Apple's side. The problem is that I had to go through eight agents and three phone calls to get an agent at Apple in Media Services willing to assist me. Most agents, as soon as they heard "Movies Anywhere" they immediately told me "that's a third party app, and we do not support it."
