I think these are the one I'm using in my current system
I never really knew much about speakers and proper wiring
so I listened to a friend's advice
are these pretty descent wires? thanks

The monster XP is a 15 gauge wire. I beleive if you look closely at the jacket, it will say 15 somewhere on it.

The monster xp is decent wire, but somewhat over priced. For the same price ($60 a roll) you could have got 250ft of Home Depot 12 gauge, which is what alot of people around here use. I, personally, use Zennith 14 gauge OFC speaker wire because i was able to pick it up for less than 5 cents a foot ($1.12 per 25ft section). The monster xp stuff comes in at around 60 cents a foot, and the home depot stuff comes in at a little over 25 cents a foot when you buy a whole role.

depends on the length of the run.

theres a chart on there for length. its based on the resistance of the wire not exceeding 5% of the speaker's rated impedance.
