Ok. I was at casino, no particular one. I was walking around and I ran into Leonard Nimoy (spock from Star trek) and we started talking. Next to him was Ridley Scott (the guy who directed Gladiator, Alien, and Hannibal) I met them and shook their hands.
I walked over to the slot machines and I ran into Johhny Carson. And me and John just shot the shit. Like best friends and all. We just hung out for a while and he said that some friends were gonna grab a bite to eat.
He asked me if I wanted to go. So, me Johny Carson, Leonard Nimoy, Ridley Scott and we were joined by Matt Leblanc ( I don’t even watch friends!) and Rachael leigh cook, and a few others and we just sat around and ate steak.
No weird thngs, no monsters. We just sat around eating dinner and talking. Weird huh? I can’t explain it. ;) ;)

Explanation: it's a dream about you hanging out with celebrities. Sometimes dreams are exactly what they seem to be. :)

I was thinking the exact same thing, but I mean Johnny Carson?!?!? I haven't heard his name in years!

Leonrad Nimoy-- I haven't sen any original Star Trek in years too!

You would think I would dream about people I have a fancy for. HMMmmmmmm

This is a stretch but here goes anyway... (Please note that I did some dream interpretation in the Psychotherapy class I took in college, but it has been a few years.)
Viewing the dream through Jungian archetypes, I see it as the coexistence of the intellectual and the animalistic. As the character Spock, Nimoy is regarded as a source of wisdom. Scott's films, particularly the ones you noted, are known for their violence. Perhaps comedy is a way of mediating between the two, thus the presence of Johnny Carson as a best friend. (Note the casual way you've worded his invitation to go to dinner--"bite to eat", which has a more active, violent connotation than saying "have dinner" or something similar.) While dinner is predominated by conversation, eating steak could be seen as more "animal" or "savage". The range of celebrities could well be an expression of the many archetypes also. (I'd have to know what your opinions are of Matt Leblanc and Rachel Leigh Cook, but this will do for now.)
I don't detect any distress in relating the dream, although the casino setting may mean that you are considering whether to gamble on something and are getting opinions from the cooler, more intellectual side and the more aggressive (or impulsive) side.
So, in summary, I would ask if there is a decision you need to make. Perhaps you're not sure whether to dive right in and take the risk or not. I'd even be as presumptuous to surmise that you're trying to decide whether to get married or not (or some such "big" decision), but if I were right about that, you all might want to burn me at the stake. ;)
Seriously Jeff, this is what I read into it, but it is by no means definitive or even correct. The one thing I can ask is if this makes sense to you.

Jeff, if any of these interpretations give you an "a ha" illumination type feeling, then usually that's the correct one so be aware of your gut feeling when reading these.

My sense is that you have a inner desire to be in a circle of friends that consists of very famous/popular people. The steak dinner/conversation exchange is indicative of you even wishing to be part of their regular life (eating a meal and "shooting shit").

Another aspect is that throughout the dream, you play a passive role. You "run" into these stars and they "ask" you to join them. This could mean that you feel shy or unworthy in their presence. The opposite would be true if you took an active role and they ran into you or you asked them if they wanted to join you.

The casino scenario is just part of the glitz seems to accompany the magnanimity of these popular stars.

I don't know who Rachel leigh cook is though...

By the way, let me know if you get an "a-ha" feeling.

I had a dream recently where I was at an event or a party or something, and I'm outside getting ready to walk in and all the sudden a car door opens and Steven Speilberg gets out to go into the event/party too. He's like right in front of me so I say to him, "Steve! Great to see you!" and he looks at me with a "who the f---" are you expression on his face.

Later on inside I meet up with him again and I apologize for my sarcasm outside and we both have a good laugh about the whole thing! Weird!

   That Steven Spielberg dream is good.....
Well my opinions are...
Matt Leblanc -- really don't care for. I have seen about 3 episodes of Friends since it has been on t.v.
Rachael Leigh Cook -- My goddess. Plain and simple:)

I've been watching The Sopranos and one thing that struck me as unrealistic about a couple of episodes was how the characters were able to recall unusual dreams in perfect detail. On a very rare occasion I'll remember some vague references to a dream but 99% of the time I don't. Am I the only one that doesn't get to hang out with celebs in his sleep? I feel like I'm missing out here...
