Slowly making my way through this latest boxset and decided to watch the 1946 Ziegfeld Follies first and found it to be much more entertaining than I had hoped. Great mix of comedy sketches and musical numbers - I thoroughly enjoyed the film and some of the standouts for me were Love with Lena Horne,
Limehouse Blues with Fred Astaire and Lucille Bremer, An Interview with Judy Garland and The Babbit And The Bromide with Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire. Great music, wonderful stories and I"m looking forward to the other films included - Three Little Words, Till The Clouds Roll By, Summer Stock and It's Aways Fair Weather - my next choice.
