This is a joke, right? Columbia-Tristar wouldt't butcher a French-language, 2,35:1 - movie like this. Does anybody hava any further information?
I wouldn't be really concerned if only DVDEmpire stated this information - but two different Internet-shops?

The France R2 edition was a 2-disc THX SE with DTS sound (but unfortunately without English subtitles).
As so much work has already been done in preparing this, it would be a real shame if other regions don't get a similar edition with added subtitles.
