Just wondering what region 4 DVD's in terms of picture and sound quality out perform their Region 1 and 2 counterparts?

    Please forgive me.
What do the different regions refer to? Are you talking world regions?
    Please advise

In general, the biggest difference between r4 and r1 releases still goes back to the PAL versus NTSC technical topic. The others are the diffence between features and digital surround sound that comes with the release.
One of the most common difference between r1 and r4 release,is the DD bitrate of the same title,r4 lesser.
