SV18 super-sub (1 Viewer)

I am considering buying a SV18 from http://www.subwoofers.com to make a super-sub similar to a SVS (just way bigger), I have some 22" tube (same quality as Sonotube) I was wondering if anyone has bought this 18" woofer and what your opinion of it is before I buy one (it is $750.00 US)

Trevor, food for thought: Adire is coming out with the Maelstrom, an 18" driver, and it'll have a pre-order price around $250 (afterwards, around $350). The Maelstrom will be the bigger brother to the Tempest (15") and the Shiva (12") drivers.

If Pats specs are correct ---
Qes-0.29
Qms-19
Qts comes to .198
Others may check this, ran it twice and the out come was the same... Qts=.198

Qts is the combination of Qes and Qms. The easiest way to calculate Qts is:
Qts = (Qms * Qes) / (Qms + Qes)
For Maelstrom, this would be 0.285.

Another new item. I thought you guys were coming out with a 700 watt plate amp. When is that coming out. I am more interested in the amp than a huge driver.
