I'm looking to add a stereo preamp to my HT setup but I'm not sure which one to choose. I'd hookup my CDP and turntable to it. My setup has PSB Image 5T speakers w/ an Outlaw 750 Amp.
I'm not sure whether a tube preamp would match well with the Outlaw. Some tube preamps I was looking at if it would be a good match were Rogue Audio 66, Conrad-Johnson 10A, Audible Illusions Mod3 or Mod3A. As for solid state preamps, maybe Conrad-Johnson, Rotel, Adcom.
I was looking at getting them used since I only have $500-750 to spend on it. If you have any other recommendations let me know. Thanks.
