Star Trek The Animated Series on DVD ?

    Are there any plan to release it on DVD. we hear many news about TNG,DS9 and VOY but nothing about the animated series. Please M. Blythe, what can you tell us about it?

    Good question! This should be a no-brainer, unless there are rights issues involved. There are many, MANY Trekkers out there who would enjoy owning this on DVD!
    Great big pat-on-the-back to Bertrand for bringing it up!

    I wanted these until I watched some copies my friend had.
    They were terrible. Bad and cheap and not worth watching again.

    That may be your opinion...and I respect it.
    But I enjoyed many of the stories on ST:TAS. Yep, the cartoon quality was low-end Saturday morning fare...just a step short of He-Man (which I also enjoyed immensely).
    But that doesn't take away from the fact that I would enjoy immensely owning some clean-looking DVDs with these shows.
