Richard Lewis, Neurotic Comic and ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Actor, Dies at 76

The master of self-deprecating comedy whined his way to stardom with stand-up TV specials, a sold-out concert at Carnegie Hall and appearances on 'Anything but Love.'

Always made me laugh on Curb Your Enthusiasm. One of my favorite lines from that show is Larry telling Lewis how Jon Hamm is playing him in a movie and Lewis responds "What's the name of the movie? The Biggest Asshole That Ever Walked The Earth?"

Very sad news. RIP RL. I first remember seeing him doing some great stand-up routines on TV back in the '80's. And, much later caught him on multiple seasons of the hilarious Curb your Enthusiasm. His exchanges with LD on Curb were especially hilarious & clever. He was definitely a consummate entertainer/comedian.
