Such an excellent character that Munch turned out to be. Interesting comic in the stand-ups I have seen. Seems that we are losing people almost daily now. I hate reading these obituaries.

I believe he played the same character in more shows than anyone in TV history. From Homicide to the Law & Orders to The X-Files to The Wire to 30 Rock.

I said hello to him once at a party in New York City. He was the coolest person in a room full of very cool people.

I loved his HBO special from the early 80s, just as Reagan became president. It pissed off a number of my uncles, which made me like him more.
