New Tomb Raider game exclusive to PS2/PC (1 Viewer)

I'm as yet not sure what to make of this. I remember my brother in law kindly lending me his copy of the first game on the Playstation, I loved it, it was neat, but I never had any desire to even consider buying the sequels. They'll need to prove themselves with this, either returning truly to what made the first game so go or just plain re-invent it for the better.

From what everything points to, they're trying to do both.

Is it possible to do both? I'd think it'd really have to be one or the other...

Well supposedly they have the game split into 3 sections and each one is a little different. One section is darker than the games have been recently and is more in the style of the first TR, one section is sort of action/adventure/RPG-ish (you have to do small tasks to raise your stats or get items in order to complete objectives to do stuff, or something like that), and another section is more action based than puzzle or strategy based.
