I've been looking at buying a 52 inch LCD TV. So far, I've narrowed my choices down to the Sharp Acquos Aquos LC52SE94U, Sony Bravia XBR KDL-52XBR6 and Samsung LN52A750.

Here is what I've read about each:

Sharp - stuck pixels

Sony - screen has cloudy patches visible when watching movies with dark scenes.

Samsung - power up time is lengthy (10 secs) and changing channels is also lengthy (5 secs). Bezel around TV easily scratches and turns a cloudy white.

Appreciate any feedback as to whether these are true and why you made decision on any of the above. Appreciate all feedback (positive and negative). I want to finalize my decision asap.

what you are describing are "general LCD flaws" and not specific to any one brand. Id lean towards the Samsung, all things being equal. Are you really going to use its channel changing ability ? (doubtful, almost everybody uses a HD cable box, or HD satellite box).
