Moth Audio Cicada Speakers (anyone heard them?) (1 Viewer)

I am not looking for speakers or anything but while I was
over at Upscale Audio's website to get Kevin's email addy I
took a few moments to browse some of the "new stuff". When
I did I saw these..



94Db Sensitivity, perfect for small tube amps and only $700.00
a pair..

Sounds like a pretty dang good deal. But I wonder how they
actually sound.. Is this the Lowther full range driver or
some spin off?

Ive heard them Brett. Thier nice sounding speakers that should be driven by a quality tube amp. Not very dynamic tho.

Very pretty...and I like the name.

No tweeter just one full range driver. its a diferent sound that what u may be used to.

Yep I didn't think they would be very dynamic. It's also
sort of a Misnomer how they call that a "Full Range" driver
it's hardly full range.. But none the less with some HQ
Tube Amplification and a good powered sub that could make
for a very inexpensive 2Ch setup.
