Mitsu RPTV question.... last year's platinum, or this year's gold?? (1 Viewer)

I can get last years 65" platinum plus for less than I can get this year's gold series. Are the additional features in this year's tvs better than the top of the line (besides diamond) tvs from last year?

I have about 3400 dollars to spend... Looking for the BEST 65" RPTV I can get for my money. I love to watch my DVDs and watch DirectTV when I'm not watching DVDs. I also watch some prime time OTA HDTV, so I'm not really concerned that there be an integrated tuner in the TV as I'll need a STB anyway.

Hi Jim,
one of the reasons you might want to buy this years model, is the DVI input since last years doesn't have it.
