That's a great in depth review. I've been pondering whether or not to order this title as I'm just starting to like Michelle Yeoh movies but I love the HKL series. I'll probably pick this one up soon.

I am sure the DVD is great, but the film itself is rather fluffy and lame. Yeoh goes the entire film with a goofy smile on her face, as though she is never in danger. And the musical theme is played so many times, after a while you just want to yell SHUT UP ALREADY!
Yeoh's acting ability has improved over the years and I think she is currently one of the best Asian actresses around. The only early film she did that I truly enjoy is ROYAL WARRIORS, which, despite some story problems, succeeds in delivering the promised suspense.
