Macromedia Flash MX 2004 : Display Video & Email Links

    Flash movies are fun. Everyone has (or should have) the plugin so no need for the user to download codecs.

    Convert your movies to the .flv format using RIVA encoder (the free one). The lower bitrates surprisingly look pretty good.

    Then in Flash's Components Panel go to media components. Drag & Drop the player + controls icon to the stage. Make sure the parameters match the video's properties, and don't forget to fill out the time length box (so flash knows how long your video is for quick indexing).
