LG has announced two new LG TONE Free true wireless earbuds, models HBS-FN6 and HBS-FN4, both with onboard Meridian Audio technology. The HBS-FN6 features a UVnano case designed to eliminate bacteria and germs on the earbuds as they charge. The new canal-type design promises a more comfortable fit and is available in two colors, matte black and a glossy white.
The earbuds include Meridian’s HSP (Headphone Spatial Processing) which comes courtesy of the same company’s DSP tech, enabling a simulation of listening to real loudspeakers. Onboard EQ sound settings by Meridian enable four presets for tailoring audio playback: Natural, Immersive, Bass Boost and Treble Boost. Snug-fitting eartips provide a tight seal for blocking out most distracting exterior noise while an Ambient Sound Mode lets wearers hear what’s going on around them.
