This snippet from an AP article published today about Ken Jennings closing in on winning one million dollars on Jeopardy. He is at $920,000.00 as of yesterday.

From the AP:

Jennings expects to invest what he's won for wife Mindy and their 1-year-old son, Dylan. There will be a splurge or two, probably on a trip to Europe.

The movie buff managed to come up with wrong answer to that question the first time his wife raised it.

"She asked me what we're going to do with all the money and I told her it's all going to DVDs. I don't think she thought that was too funny," Jennings said.

HaHa! how true though.

I think it would be so much fun to come across a chunk of change like that and be able to buy any dvd (or boxset) :D

I've often fantasized about when I'm out of college with real disposable income. Mmmmm, I'm gonna have one heck of a home theater and dvd collection in a few years.

Seems more a list of movies he's seen than a listing of his top 2000 as he said on Jeopardy.

BTW - he hit a million today. Good for him, but my wife can't wait to see him lose now.
