Is Two if by Sea really anamorphic? (1 Viewer)

I picked this movie up in a bargain bin at Wal-Mart for 5.88 yesterday because it's a guilty pleasure of mine. When I got home and read the box, I was surprised to see that it says "enhanced for widescreen TVs". I thought it was a glitch, because I've seen it for cheap in other stores too, and cheap discs usually aren't anamorphic. So is this a glitch or what?

It certainly is anamorphic. This is one of my fave guilty pleasures.

It is only cheap because it has been marked down. Several months after a DVD is released, the studios frequently do that. It probably started out with a MSRP of around $20.
