Im looking for some sort of SPL meter for my computer that uses a computer microphone... I know it wont be a perfect measurement, but my friend wants to do a calibration for his beginner HT, and he doesnt want to spend $30 or so dollars on a SPL meter. I dont have one as i borrowed it from somebody else...
    Help?

Give this a try http://www.etfacoustic.com/index.html (found on groups.google.com). I didn't read the website too much so I don't know if this will do what you want, but it might.

I got this from an old HTF thread but I've never tried it although I intend to some day. You get a free 30 day full feature demo, but then you have to buy it if you want to keep using it.
