I switched from T-mobile because there was no reception in my office at work. Otherwise I was happy with them.
AT&T got my service as their coverage was better for me. I just got a Nokia 3650 (upgraded from an 8390) and it's great! Big color screen, can download new applications (even Java, see Java apps ), works with AIM & Yahoo Messenger.
I use it to take photos and then instantly email them out from the phone. Great for sending baby photos to my parents!

Mind you, if I wanted to have a keyboard this upcoming one looks clever: Nokia 6800
The 3650 is available on T-mobile too.

But they don't have a service provider in Canada yet.

It's a GSM device, isnt it? I dont know if any other carrier would support it, but, I would think a non-carrier locked model would work with any active sim card.
