I have a Sony computer with a CD-R/RW drive.

I have a CD-RW disc that I want to format for use like a floppy (drag + drop files to it)

I am using NERO BURNING ROM software for my cd-burning

I have looked all through the help file and can't find anything to help me. Does anyone have any suggestions (or can somebody walk me thru this)?

Thanks for any info/help.. :)

You need to be running Nero's InCD application. When you insert a CD-RW you should get the option to format the disc for packet writing, or choose Format from the InCD tray icon.

Once you do this you can use the CD-RW like a floppy, and you can even use it with Roxio's DirectCD, which is handy if you need to transfer files between a computer running Roxio and one running Nero.

Thanks for your quick reply answer. I actually didn't have InCD installed on my computer. One visit to the nero website solved that.

I am now formatting it as I type...thanks again!
