HK AVR 130 to a power amp? (1 Viewer)

HK AVR 130 does not have pre-outs for a power amp. Is it possible to use the tape out? or the coax audio out?

Does it make any sense to set up a power amp just for the front main speakers? The speakers I have are Athena AS F2.2. I have the rest of the AS series for center and surrounds but these would run straight off the AVR.

Things sound good now, but I think they can sound better with an amp.

As far as i know, if you dont have pre-outs for the powered amp, then you will not be able to do this.

You may want to look into getting the next model level for the HK and that one i am sure has the pre-puts.
