Help Please - Antenna Question, JVC RX-318 (1 Viewer)

I got a Terk Edge antenna, which is supposed to fit any receiver but i don't see any terminal for the Terk coaxial jack. Is there normally a T antenna for this unit, & should i go back to that or is there a better but also inexpensive option? As it is the radio gets nothing but static but the shop checked it out as working fine (the Terk was not with it when tested. Thanks!

Radio shack has coaxial to twin lead adapter for a couple of bucks, that should do it
