HELP!! Need detailed info on DVD players (historical sales info) (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

I need to find some info on dvd players and thought this to be the best place to ask. I'm doing a marketing plan for a school assignment (MBA class) on Sony DVD players.

We need to create a detailed marketing plan that would be presented to Sony Sr. Executives. The info I've been trying to find (so far with no luck) is historical sales info on DVD players since inception (broken out by brand), growth projections, key competitors, Sony's strengths, basically any and all detailed info possible. The only thing I've had any luck with is finding the total sales of DVD players since inception, but not broken out by manufacturer. A

Any help that could be provided would be greatly appreciated. This is 20% of my grade.

Doing a google search it shouldn't take much time to find DVD growth projections for the market as a whole. However, it may be very difficult to find the more detailed information (sales by brand, actual market research on the strengths of different brands, etc.)
