Help!! My HK avr 125 going into protection mode. (1 Viewer)

This happens when i turn it up loud. Never did this before. Could it be because my speaker wires are touching power cords. Also one thing I did when wiring the speaker, my one speaker wire from the rear surround wasnt long enough so instead of cutting a new wire i just wired 2 pieces together with elecrical tape. Could this be why.

make shure you have proper polarity when wiring your speakers, H/K models will go into protect mode when the polarity is reversed. It also could be that you might have a short.
