Hi. I was wondering if anyone could help lead me through what i need to do to hook up the new stealth case fan i got to cool off my amp, to a 12v dc adaptor. I assumed i just cut the "connector" end off the adaptor and connect the bare wires to the wires from the fan, but the fan has 3 wires, yellow, red and black and i just wanted some help to make sure of what i was doing before i went messing around with it. Thanks a lot for any help with this anyone can give me.

The third (middle/yellow) wire is for when you have it hooked up to a computer, so the computer can monitor the fan's RPMs. You may safely ignore it.
