you might want to add McIntosh and Lexicon to your short list, especially the Mac.

Lex's line of amps are simply rebadged Brystons. Mac makes terrific amps though.

i personally have a Classe CA-150 and can't say enough good things about it. go demo extensively and let your ears decide, though.
