*sigh* it's truly a sad day to see these go, but holiday bills need paying.
the ER-4P's are the low-impedance version of the ER-4S and are easily driven by any portable CD player without an external amp. these are truly the best sounding headphones i've ever heard, without exception. they walk all over my Sennheiser HD580's and my brother's HD600's. the 23dB of isolation is amazing, especially for air travel. here's the link to headroom's site: http://www.headphone.com/layout.php?...tID=0020100005
mine are in impeccable condition with all original packing material still intact. they come with 3 extra filters, which need to be changed every couple months depending on use (i've owned mine since July and only had to replace one of them once). also included is the mini to 1/4" jack, a tool to change the filters, a deluxe carrying case, and 4 of the standard replacement earplugs (two were used by me and can be included if you'd really like them). asking price is a reasonable $195 shipped.
i'm also selling the portable Airhead amp i purchased a few weeks after the 4P's. while the ety's are easily run amp-less, the added depth of the external amp gives the music a whole new level of clarity. the amp includes the mini to mini cable needed to attach it to a portable CD player. it runs off 3 AAA batteries (included) and also has an input for a wall adapter (not included). i paid $120 for it in July and am asking $65 shipped.
you can buy both together for $250 shipped, which is less than the price i paid for the ER-4P's alone. thanks for looking, and please email me at [email protected] with questions.
here are hi-res pics of both items (56k warning- these are large):
