i have a deftech supercube reference for sale. this has yet to really surface for a review online... the deftech I and II have gotten ok reviews online, and very favorable in magazines. the reference is the all out big brother. it has the output of 4 supercube I's. i dont really know if there is a way to describe sound accurately, but i DO know it blends into nothing with my magnepans (a task VERY hard to do, most subs cant), yet still shakes the house for HT usage. it was rated a 99/100 by DVD Etc, for what its worth.
the details are on deftech's website. the low-down is, its 1800 watts, 1 active 14", two passive 14"s, 120 pounds of brute, but gentle bass control. its been in my system for 6 months or so, babied (as all my gear is), and in absolutely as new mint condition. there isnt even a hairline scratch in the piano gloss finish.
asking price is $1,200, retail is $1,700.
