i have what i think is a pretty decent fp system.
i can certainly see the problems with transfers most people view as reference (like AOTC,etc).
but when a truly amazing disc comes along- i'm left slack jawed.
Anchor Bays Fright is as good-looking a disc as i've ever seen. in fact, for the first 10 minutes i was just stunned how crisp, colorful, dimesional and SOLID this look.
i see things like this, and it makes the whole notion of HD DVD feel completely moot to me.
the movie itself didn't really do it for me, but man-oh-man, if only all my movies could look like this...
