These are the first images I've taken with my new D70s. All have had very minor PS work (tad of contrast, slight boost in saturation).

I'm fairly happy with the quality. I would have preferred maybe a bit more colour straight out of the camera, but I haven't quite got the hang of the white balance just yet. Obviously the size is reduced down here.

I have no idea who this little girl is, but she kept looking 'round at my camera and struck an impromptu pose :)

I thought the color saturation is just right. Punchy. Anymore, it'd be blooming, hyper-real, cartoony. Were those shots taken with saturation increased? My guess it is.

Enjoy your camera. It's a goodie.

Ryan, the camera settings were just 'normal'. I added maybe +4 or so on saturation in PS.

At the mo I'm just using JPEG so I need to start using NEF really. I've noticed some of the built-in optimise settings (Portrait, Landscape etc) can be quite aggressive, especially with sharpness.

This is one taken on Sunday using Landscape (by that I mean Landscape colour/sharpness/tone setting - exposure was manual). This is straight out of the camera with no adjustments except in size.
