This DVR uses the Electronic Programming Guide which it receives thru my cable. I, however, also have a digital tv box which I believe does not allow the EPG signal thru. Any ideas on how to connect the DVR so I can take advatage of the EPG and my digital box?
The only solution I can think of is to split the cable before the digital box and then switch to the dig box only when needed. Will this work? When do these DVRs pick up the EPG info? Does it have to constantly connected to receive the EPG?
Any thoughts? Or is there anywhere I can go for info?
