I purchased a new CDRW, Buslink 52X24X52X, and when I went to use it, CD creator tells me there is no CD writer. It offers to link to their website to see if my drive is listed. There are no Buslink drives listed at the site at all. I had to resort to using the supplied software to burn a CD, which worked perfectly BTW. It is nowhere near as flexible as EasyCD though. I am using version 5.0 Platinum. Roxio does have an update to version 5.3.2 available for free download, but it is an 18 mb file and I am using dial-up. Any suggestions?

While I was upgrading I also added 256MB of ram to my system's 128 thinking this would increase burning performance.

My advice is to bite the bullet and download the 18MB EasyCD Creator upgrade. I bought a new Sony CD-RW drive for my parents for Xmas. EasyCD wouldn't recognize it either until I upgraded. You could always send Roxio tech support an email asking them if your particular drive is supported with the latest upgrade.

Thanks John, I'll give it a try. FWIW I tried uninstalling and reinstalling EasyCD only to have it tell me noe burner detected again. I'm probably looking at a 2 - 3 hr download. Hope noone calls.
