Does anyone use movie theater fixtures in their home theaters?

For those that do, what are your sources for obtaining these items? I've checked on E-bay a couple of times and found a couple of items, but nothing remarkable. Is there a website or catalog out there that deals in old theater fixtures/appliances/furniture? Or do you just watch for theater closings and try to get what you can?

    Any help is appreciated!

This may not help..but here is how I found stuff...

Like water, it's where you find it..or them!

I got my seats at K-Mart and a flea market. Movie reels from a projectionist who has an onlie site...bought'em CHEAP too! Ebay of course...Usenet..that's where I bought my Butter Toppers for $75.00 a piece.

Advice: Keep you eye and ear out...look EVERYWHERE...and you'll start to find what you are looking for...and at reasonable prices as well.

Like Scooter said, lots of sources if you keep looking. Sometimes you stumble across something. Just as I was getting ready to add seating to my HT they renovated Radio City Music Hall.

I couldn't resist. Like the Mastercard ad says, "Priceless!"
