Pioneer LD players and in the very early 80's, RCA CED machines? They even had some Toshiba Beta Hi-Fi units one time with, get this, manual record level and level meters. Oh the horror...

They also had some low end Technics, Pioneer and Toshiba stuff at one time.

They didn't have Wal-Mart out here yet back then- did Wal-Mart ever sell laserdiscs or just the players? When I finally got my LD player in 93 I was annoyed that stores like this sold tons of VHS tapes but absolutely NO laserdiscs!
I have one CED videodisc with a Gemco price tag on it (a discount-store chain that died in the 80's, Target ended up buying most of their locations.)

Rca ced players! Used their exclusive "Read it and Weep"
technology. Someone needed to serve jail time for that fraud.
