Do you still have the low LFE problem if you hook it up via HDMI? (1 Viewer)

It's well known that the problem is widespread via analog connections, what about HDMI? I have my XA2 connected via HDMI for video only, audio is analogs. I'm wondering if I should upgrade to an HDMI receiver.

I notice this low LFE with my A1, I tried rectifying it by adjusting the speakers lower in the settings of the A1. On my Sony Blu Ray player the LFE is outstanding, a definite WOW from the PB12 plus 2 sub when viewing

Isn't this an issue in the receiver and not the DVD player? Some receivers boost the LFE +10db and others don't when hooked up via HDMI. There is a thread about this over at AVS about this,
