My sister just showed me this site, and I was thinking of advertising my forum on it. But is it a reputable/respectible site, or is it just another myspace clone that's not worth the time?

When I was freelancing I nabbed a couple clients through Craigslist.

The site is very popular.

Although that does vary geographically. The difference in traffic/postings between Craigslist Dallas & in the Bay Area is quite remarkable for example.

i'm guessing you meant to say ebay, unless you've never been to myspace. it's not really a clone of anything, but it's a simplified version of ebay, with no bidding. there are scammers, but you aren't any worse off there than anywhere else. i like CL.

Ugh, Forget that site.

I posted links to what I hope was the appropriate forum to my site, and got nothing but swear words..

There's gotta be a better way to advertise a forum .
