I'm buying a 3802 within the next week or so. I'm curious as to what you guys paid for yours. I'm just trying to see what's a good price to aim for when bargaining.

Paul,

I paid $1445 plus 15% taxes, so a grand total of $1662 about 4 months ago from a B&M store. The dealer had the strong opinion that I was robbing him of food off his table for his 9 children and 3 dogs. Nonsense. When I see recent threads in this forum that state that one can get a 3802 for $699 US shipped from an authorized Denon dealer (warranty intact), my heart just bleeds. Expect to pay more in Canada.

I think it was an even $1400, $16XX after tax.
